On the Rise prioritizes training queer trans BIPOC 16-18 year-olds into the world of commercial real estate with virtual and in-person classes specific to Design, Project + Facilities Management, and Tech trades with the goal of helping students achieve an internship or apprenticeship through the program.

Tech trades refers to a wide variety of careers where you work with your hands and make a big, real-world impact. Some great examples are HVAC, plumbing, electrician, and carpentry.

You’ll learn about a lot of different trades to help you decide where you see yourself in the future, as well as some basic skills to help you succeed professionally. The program is designed to help you achieve an internship or apprenticeship afterwards.
